Java Test
is a sample Java applet demonstrating how Java can be used to develop
real applications, not just pretty logo colors.
If you can see the Button "Java Test", your browser supports Java so
give it a go. The chat program won't work because my ISP no
longer automatically starts my chat server. This applet is compiled
by the JDK version 5 build 11. I use the JRE version 1.5 build 10.

If you are on the other side of a firewall you will not be able
to run the "Son of Chat" applet. This application makes a TCP/IP
connection to my custom chat server, which the firewall
blocks.
I have had requests to license the mortgage applet. If you
are not going to use the applet commercially, you may use
the applet for free as long as I get credit for being the
author. Just put a link to this web page. If you are in the
mortgage business or a real estate agent, send me mail because
the applet will probably need
to be modified for your requirements.
